The SPCA of Brevard is the largest private no-kill animal rescue group in Brevard county. We opened our doors to animals looking for homes over 40 years ago. We are proud to be a "Loving, Caring, Protecting", No-Kill shelter, which means that animals stay with us until they find their forever home. SPCA Volunteers are needed onsite and off both at the shelter and our thrift stores. From Bark Buddies, Kitty Cuddlers and retail thrift store helpers, to home crafts brought in for our friends enrichment or even Foster Parents for dogs & cats, our shelter pets thrive from our volunteers! Once you have attended orientation and completed the necessary training, you are ready to begin saving lives as an official Brevard Humane Society Volunteer!
